Istanbul is popular for his homeless cats freely walking in the city. Winters in Turkey are really cold, so it was hard for the little animals with almost no fur to survive. Imam Mustafa Efe is popular as for leading prayers at his mosque, but he’s also an animal lover.
He sheltered many homeless cats and kittens in his mosque. He wants the cute “guests” feel secure and comfortable in his mosque.
Many homeless animals attend Efe’s sermons as a sign of gratitude to the man, who provided them with comfortable home.
