How delightful! Fawn thinks the German Shepherd is his mother and pursues her to hug

Thanks to Iris for helping a lost baby get home.

A 7-month-old dog named Iris is taken to K9 training on a daily basis by her master Adrian Flores. One day, a German Shepherd and her master stumbled upon a lost fawn while walking along a trail in South Pines, North Carolina.

They spotted that the baby had been with them for a long time. The fawn pursued Iris, thinking she was his mother.

The smart German Shepherd stopped and approached the baby when she felt that he was frightened.

The dog stayed in place for about an hour to look after the scared fawn. She soothed him, caressing and kissing. Happily, the fawn waved goodbye to Iris as he found his way home.

Thanks to Iris for helping a lost baby get home. How delightful! Check the clip below.
