Unexpectedly, the mother gorilla rescues a boy who is 3

Gorillas are highly territorial animals, which makes them very hazardous when people interact with them in the wild or at a zoo.

This is part of what makes the next story so amazing. When a 3-year-old boy unexpectedly fell into a gorilla enclosure at the Brookfield Zoo in Illinois, the personnel expected the worst. Giant gorillas can maim or even kill grown men, so you can only imagine the damage a little kid can do.

But, happily, that day was different. After the little kid fell, Bint, a 7-year-old female gorilla with a baby on her back, ran up to the boy and picked him up.

She then carefully carried him to the exhibition door so that saviors were able to pick him up.
