A lovely couple saved the mother cat’s and her babies’ lives
If it was possible we would rescue all the cats from the streets. And the lives of the homeless cats is amazing. They survive the worst summers and winters, but it isn’t so for all of them.
In winter a couple returning to Indiana saw an extraordinary big lump of ice on the side of the road. They seemed to see him move, but weren’t sure. After coming closer the couple found out a pregnant cat mother, that was clinging to her last breath the snow and ice.
They immediately understood they needed to help. They immediately took her to the vet. Although the cat had an absolutely horrible health, she was able to be saved. Then the shelter wanted to help them.
They brought the cat and examined. She had bloody nails, that showed she was in a battle before all of these happened. The mother’s name was Camilla and she was happy to be rescued.
Camilla eat a lot of food and water before going to sleep. She gave birth to four cute kittens after a few days. She received the assistance at just the appropriate moment. She and her kittens wouldn’t have survived if they hadn’t met the couple.
In the beginning she was very attentive and protective to her cats, but after some time she let the caretakers to check on them. Camilla needed assistance in feeding the kittens and the shelter helped her.
We are really happy for the rescue and that mother and kittens are all okay.
