Meet Pearce, an amazing Vervet monkey, who is one year old. The cutie was injured and had to stay at a clinic for getting the appropriate treatment. After being cured for three weeks, Pearce became quite healthy and strong, and she was ready to returned home.
When she came back to her family, her mother welcomed her in a heartbreaking way. Their exciting reunion was captured on camera and a great number of people were attracted by it.
This shows the strong bond that mothers and their babies have. Her mom was waiting for her impatiently and when she noticed her baby was coming, her happiness was indescribable. This is a great example of family love.
The touching reunion took place at Umsizi Umkomaas Vervet Rescue Centre, which is concentrated on saving and protecting vervet monkeys. These helpless creatures are rescued, cured and returned to their habitat.
