This dog has been completely redone.
This dog alone guarded the streets of Los Angeles until he was saved, and he seemed to have been doing this job almost his entire life. At that time, the little dog was approximately 11 years old, and he was quite ill because of his age, and all he needed was just a little support.
One day an elderly dog fell asleep on the balcony of a woman’s house, but decides to stay there until he received the necessary treatment. The woman detected that he was very deeply misunderstood as well as frightened, so she came close to him in order to understand what was going on.
The woman discovered that the dog whom she called Solovino, remained on the balcony for several days, and made a decision to assist him.
She contacted the Rocket Dog Rescue refugee and they accepted to take care of Solovino as well as carried the pup to their San Francisco facility. Although, the rescue institution specialized in helping unhoused animals, at first the dog was settled in a foster family so that he would get used to the new conditions.
Sadly, the dog was affiliated several times, but connected with some circumstances, all these times owners carried him back to the refugee without explaining the reason properly.
No one could realize what was the reason that the cute little pup couldn’t find a suitable home until Carol Messina appeared to convert his life.
Carol accidentally stumbled upon a shot of the pup on the Internet and instantly felt that he was perfect, so she made a decision to affiliate him.
Carol explained to the Dodo:
“I was eager to admire him as soon as I noticed his face on the website.” Then I discovered that his name was Solovino, and as a big fan of Star Wars, I thought to myself:“ I love you.“ „She felt it was fate. Then when I met him and understood how upset he looked, and made up my mind that he would be with me for the rest of my life.
He was gloomy, closed and had little trust in others when I first met Solo, but I felt that he would feel secure with me.
Solovino came to his new family, and although, he should have been joyful, he was terrified. He is distrustful as well, having the feeling that Carol is going to reject him, as it was in previous owners.
Carol carried on,
“ He kept his tail between his legs for months when he moved to live together with me. He did not have a good relationship with dogs, people or cats and shuddered in case someone tried to pet him.
Carol soon revealed something that dramatically changed Solo’s circumstances because he was almost deaf and his teeth was bothering him a lot. Even the refugee volunteers didn’t know about it, which helped explain their strange behavior.
Perhaps his discomfort or distress was caused by his inability to listen to approaching people. Besides, his teeth caused him a lot of worry, not allowing him to be pleased with doing any activity or reveal his true emotions.
Therefore, his new mother made a decision to carry him to the vet clinic for dental repairs, and after that, Solo’s life changed forever.
The dog started to play as well as run, and he even bettered his relationships with other dogs. Carol bought a helm for the deaf to support him cope with his hearing condition so, others could notice and ask before blowing it.
She turns on and off the lights in the house as well, so that the dog knows about her presence and doesn’t worry
Solovino has been completely redone: in a short period of time, he converted into a joyful and extroverted dog who is living a complete life.
Carol wanted to say that:
„People who live next door frequently say it doesn’t look like the same dog anymore.“ For several months he has not opened his mouth to breathe, but today he smiles, spins and goes outside a dozen times a day.
Regardless of his health problems, Solovino’s life has fully converted, and presently he is waiting impatiently to spending his golden years with new mother.
The most beautiful thing that could happen to this dog’s life after so many years on the streets was to find an eternal home.
