This woman was saved thanks to her dog’s instinct and care.
It is beyond doubt that dogs are the trustiest animals on the earth. And this loyalty once again comes to prove the newly won picture on social media, in which a service dog rejects to leave his mother’s hospital room.

However, this unique contact started when Shauna Darcy decided that a dog would assist her in her never-ending battle with trouble. And I wasn’t wrong about that. It was surely an instant love with Ruby. And the clever puppy became more than just a service dog. Without understanding it, when Shauna got Ruby, she found a fellow. Real!
“When he was being trained as a service dog, I noticed that she began picking up changes in my heart rate, which was fun,” Shauna said. „Like stepping on me, trying to get my attention, jumping on me [etc.]“

To put it differently, Ruby is more like Shauna’s lifesaver. He is next to his foster parent all the time. And her routine involves testing Shauna’s blood pressure and heart rate, given that she also suffers from a rare heart state which is called Ehlers-Danlos vascular syndrome. In addition, this specimen also assists his human fellow during panic attacks by carrying food or picking up dropped objects.
“When I pass out, he gets on top of me and puts all his pressure on me, licking my hands and face until I recover,” said the young woman.

Ruby saved his mother’s life a few days ago. She started to make Shauna aware that something was wrong. And although the girl felt good, she made up her mind to believe Ruby’s instincts and called an ambulance. “It finds out that my heart began to have atrial fibrillation,” she said. „By the time the ambulance arrived, I was in pain and almost insensible.“
Due to her faithful and exceptional dog, Shauna can breathe again. But Ruby’s loyalty doesn’t stop him. He refused to leave his mother during the period when she was in the hospital. Shauna is sure that the exceptional bond between her and Ruby actually saved her life. “I wouldn’t be in the land of the living without him,” she said.
