The dog protected over a hundred koalas
A dog, named Bear, that is a hero in his own right. During in the Australian forest fires in 2019 and 2020, he protected about 100 koalas.
He has been quite helpful in locating them. The dog, could only recognize them by smelling their fur.
Because he is a hero, the Investment Vehicle for Animal Protection in the United Kingdom gave him the Special Recognition Medal for his efforts.
Dog is now the proud owner of an olympic gold. And over 100 koalas are surviving today as a result of his efforts.
Also, Koalas have been getting treatment for a looooong period and are now in better health than they’ve ever been.
