When the Scottish man started his journey around the world, a stray catty joined him and since then they became inseparable.
It was September, in 2008, when Dean Nicholson decided to start a journey around the world by his bicycle. The 31 years old man wanted to change his life and be away from everyday problems.
Although he planned to travel alone, something else happened.
He was rising the hill and listening to music, when suddenly heard a strange noise. He noticed a little stray catty. The man decided to caress the cutie and then continue his way, but after seeing that the animal needed his support the man fell in love with her and decided to adopt her.
The catty was so hungry and it was clear that she was abandoned by her previous owner. Nicholson called her Nala and began to think about making a comfortable place for his friend and due to his intelligence he made a creative and cosy place in front of his bake.
Nala was quite patient and she even didn’t get tired during the journey and showed that everything was pleasant for her. From time to time she jumped on the man’s shoulders and everyone was attracted by the couple and they even took many photos of them.
During the travelling the couple became undivided friends and they passed through many difficulties, saw a lot of interesting places and thanks to their loyal friendship, their journey became very pleasant.
At the end of the year, they were still travelling and they would continue their journey, if the catty didn’t have a chest infection due to the cold and rains. So Nicholson took her to a hostel and they had to stay there for some time until the animal would be completely healthy.
Thanks to her caring friend, Nala recovered quickly and they continued their way, although at that time the man was more attentive about her health. Due to these difficulties their connection became stronger.
So the little animal changed the man’s plans and entered his life bringing joy and happiness to him.
Although the man wanted to concentrate on his journey and discovered many new places, during the whole travelling he only thought about the catty’s comfort and health.
