The leftover dog, that was finally adopted
The Wayside Waifs once organised an adoption event at an orphanage in Kanzas City. He didn’t think, that he would get such support.
It lasted almost nineteen hours. Many people take part in it.
And so 203 different animals were adopted except for a dog. The dog’s name was Kenny.
Shelter staff says, that he is very lovely and they can’t understand why people didn’t take him.
But Kenny was pleased with the attention he was given. The shelter published information about him to find a loving family for him.
And Kenny didn’t have to wait for a long time. A family immediately wanted to adopt him.
Although the shelter staff were sad about his departure, they are also very happy, that the lonely dog found a loving family.
