In honor of her deceased mother, Angelina Jolie published a heart-wrenching photo with her, with a very touching message. Marcheline Bertrand, who was suffering from cancer, died 15 years ago at the age of 58.
Fearing the same disease, Angelina underwent numerous medical tests and was found to carry a defective BRCA1 gene, with an 87% chance of breast cancer and a 50% chance of ovarian cancer.
She was informed about it quite early and was able to prevent it from developing by removing some organs to save her life.
The actress gave a useful message in which she talked about women’s health and advised them to take care of their health. She even offers her help to cancer patients. She does this in honor of her mother.
