The customer leaves the salon with a brighter kind of natural color. Colorist Jack Martin proved that gray hair is attractive

He is a real professional of ashy as well as silver hair.

Approximately three years ago, a California woman approached colorist Jack Martin to dye her hair. She says she went gray a few years ago and had to dye her hair brown thrice a week. But currently, she is retired. She goes to her grandchildren, and relatives, or on a journey and totally does not have the desire to spend time dyeing her hair. „Can you assist me?“ the woman asked.

The colorist gave his approval. And what they did was dye the woman’s hair silver, which gives her ashy hair a natural shine but lowers the necessity to dye it once a month as well.

The woman was very pleased with the outcome. Three years ago, this shot was posted by the colorist on his Instagram account, and it’s still talked about today, and for good reason. He is a real professional of ashy as well as silver hair.

“Originally, ashy-haired customers come to me twice a year, not every few weeks,” says Martin.

The premier dyeing commonly takes approximately 10 hours. Martin says that he first uses a swill aid to expel all traces of the factitious dye. Then, without touching the ashy roots, he whitens the rest of the hair to get it ready for the fresh silver color.

Another most significant phase. He picks a new tint based on the natural ashy tone. He asks his clients to come with 8-10cm long roots in order for him to be able see their natural hair coloration. He then freshens the color sample all over the head.

“Some clients are snowy-haired on the front and darker hair on the back. Then I add a darker shade as well in order to match the natural color,” he explains.

After ten hours the client leaves the salon with a brighter version of their natural coloration.
