The beautiful moth, with extraordinary patterns
A photographer David Weiller enjoys taking photos of animals with his camera. And recently he captured the Brahmaea moth. This moth is really an extraordinary animal.
They live in Northeast Himalayas, Western China, Sundaland, Burma and the Philippines.
“It was an extraordinary thing, because it was attracted by the light of my bungalow in the rainforest. I was amazed after I saw him firstly hatched and with beautiful patterns. After seeing it fly around the light, it settled on a tree for the night” told the man.
The animal belongs to the Brahmin family. Their family consists of 7 different genera of about 49 different moth species.
