The Story of a Japanese Driver Who Has Been Regularly Visiting His Best Friend Fish for Almost 25 Years

A unique friendship between a fish and a diver

We are mainly used to seeing human beings interact with animals like cats, puppies and farm animals but what’s more surprising is that there always exists a unique friendship between a diver and a fish. Despite the fact that it sounds strange enough these two unique friends have been true friends for more than 25 years.

Everything started when a Japanese diver named Hiroyuki Arakawa was sent to supervise the construction of a ”torii” which differs a lot from other ones and lies beneath the surface of Tateyama Bay in Japan. Hiroyuki had to dive very often in order to evaluate the site’s condition because it was of great spiritual significance. After so many times of investigating the place the man knew almost all of the aquatic creatures that were living there particularly a wrasse fish whose name is Yoriko with whom the diver made a strong and wonderful connection.

No matter how strange it may sound but Hiroyuki and Yoriko actually get along so well. This may be so because of the fact idea that the scientists suggest fish are discovered to be able to recognize humans and their faces.

This may be so, because they really made a strong bond and became beat friends and every time the man was in the see he would search for the very fish on order to see him one more time. Here is a video evidence of such a unique friendship:
